The odds are never in your favor...

So Ive been playing this game for over a year. Ive spent a little bit of money on it. About $150 to be exact. A friend was playing along with me. Half way through the year, we decided to focus on monster hunting because we just couldnt keep up with the huge spenders in the game. So I started trying to "collect" gear for a monster slayer. The joke was on me. Ive never come close to getting everything I need for a decent set up. My friend finally confessed to me that she had spent over 2 grand and still hadnt been lucky enough to get the material needed for the gear either. 2 freakin grand!!! Another person in our alliance laughed when we talked to her about it. She spends almost 1 grand A WEEK on this stupid game. My point is, even to participate in the simplest of ways (monster hunting) you are screwed. Its like gambling in Vegas...the house is always going to win. Unless you are rich and have no problem throwing your money away, then have at it.
